"I have been a State Farm customer for decades. Last year, my account was transferred from another city to Steve Bauer in Berkeley due to a change of location. Steve immediately reached out to me to introduce himself and offer assistance. Now Steve has retired and Jesssica McCardle will be my agent. I have heard only good things about Jessica. Her assistant, Linda Nguyen - Cheung, is very knowledgeable and professional. "This office has been my agent of choice for more than 2 years now. I have never had any issues at all. In fact, the staff is always super helpful, very prompt in replying to queries, and very transparent about bills. Bethany Riggan: I was to especially thank her for her service. She is lovely to talk to and helped me save money on my plan. "Great Customer Service from Bethany. This young lady went above and beyond for me. I call once a month or maybe more. The other reps are super nice. But Ms Bethany was willing to take a few extra steps so I would only have to only call once a year and not worry about forgetting to make a payment on time. She is wounderful and knows her stuff. "I recently was in a bit of a panic because I found out that my Canadian car insurance was no longer valid during an extended stay in California. I called Jessica and team and made an appointment to come in that afternoon. Chris Yoon was personable and efficient. Within 15 minutes I had a new auto insurance policy at a great rate despite having Ontario plates. I so appreciate the personal service. I've only ever dealt with big Canadian insurance companies online or on the phone and it was so refreshing to be able to talk to real people. It also seems like a fun office. They had a Christmas tree, treats and good music playing. :)"

"Chris Yoon at State Farm is the best! I appreciate that when I call, Chris actually answers the phone (or returns my call promptly) and he never acts like it’s bothersome to do so. Meanwhile, other companies put you through an automated loop of “press 1 for this, press 2 for that…” Then, when you finally do get through to a person, they encourage you to just use their app next time. If their app had the answers I need, I wouldn’t be calling. On the other hand, Chris is always helpful and knowledgeable, and his follow through is superb. He even recognized that I was eligible for a better rate based on how little I’m actually driving. Who does that? Other insurance companies are trying to figure out how they can raise their premiums rather than save you money. Thank you, Chris. I appreciate having an agent that’s on my side. Keep up the great work!"

"I called the office after I received a 57% raise hike on my policy without being notified. I spoke to Bethany, who was extremely helpful and helping To troubleshoot the reasons for the rate increase. There Were changes in the information regarding the policythat I did not convey. Bethany stepped through the different causes that may have affected The change in rates. Together, we concluded that the rate should not have been as high as I was presented on my bill. The five stars go to Bethany for her help but not five stars for the Issues encountered as to some of the causes of the rate increase that Bethany is helping to rectify."
